I love to write. My dad always thought I was going to be a writer, a journalist or a reporter, for some high powered paper or magazine. I thought I’d be a novelist or a poet with a small cottage on a Gulf Island. Instead I’m a Registered Nurse, an (often injured) Runner, an avid reader and occasionally, a writer.
I’m afraid of writing. What I want to share here is my truth, my voice, my life, with all it’s ups and downs, excitement and mundane, everyday moments. It’s raw and it’s real and that is frightening.
What I hope for is that you can relate. You can relate to the trials and tribulations, to the confusing moments and the moments of pure joy, to the humanness of the adventure. I would like to bring you a smile, a moment of pause, a nod of your head and probably some bewilderment. If you are still reading, thank you and I hope that you continue to do so.
