My name is Nicola Jane and I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada.  A beautiful city with a stunning backdrop of mountains and ocean and every sport for every season you can think of! It’s also a difficult city, it’s expensive, it’s cliquey and it’s big.  I’ve heard Vancouver described as a Supermodel…gorgeous but standoffish and hard to approach.

Why is the description of where I live so relevant? As a small town girl at heart, I find the big city a struggle, but a place of self discovery and development.  I’m determined to show up for myself and make the best life I can.  I’ve fallen down, stood tall, felt joy and grief and the overwhelming humanness of this experience.  I’ve always loved to write, and now as I feel more confident in myself and more established in my life, I want to tell you my stories.

I am very active, love sports and especially like to sip wine on patios. I have a new found passion for everything motorcycle and get out on my Triumph every chance I get! I read as many books as I can and binge-watch my favorite shows on Netflix…like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, every fall.

Oh, and I still believe in love.
